ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Rhizomatous Tall Fescue (RTF) is a tall growing, single bladed grass that has a very lush deep green appearance. It is

evergreen and requires low maintenance because it does not develop a build-up of thatch like other common grasses,

meaning it does not require scarifying, however it does benefit from annual coring.

 

AFTERCARE

 

Establishing

RTF can be planted all year round but does not like being planted in very hot conditions

A thorough soaking with water straight after installation

Will need frequent deep watering until well established

The first mow can be undertaken once your turf has established and the root system can no longer be lifted

from the ground

 

Mowing

Will require mowing at least once a week

Mowing height of 30-40mm during the winter months

Mowing height of 40-50mm during the summer months

Avoid scalping as you could damage the root system of the turf.

 

Watering

Once established you will need to water up to 4 times per week during the summer months and adjust accordingly to

cooler weather

 

Fertilising

Fertilise every 8-10 weeks all year around to maintain evergreen appearance
